Job Description
The selected voice talent will record a range of conversational and professional scripts using a natural Nigerian English accent. Recordings should have a clear, steady and authoritative delivery appropriate for financial and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Record conversational scripts, financial notices, account reminders and customer service dialogues.
2. Deliver voice recordings using a deep, mature and authoritative tone.
3. Maintain a firm, steady and clear vocal delivery throughout recordings.
4. Produce clean audio without background noise, distortion or unwanted hollow sounds.
5. Use a clear smartphone or suitable microphone for recording.
6. Complete assigned recordings promptly and maintain reliable communication.
Compensation & Payment
Voice Recording: USD $6 per 1,000 words, calculated according to the recorded word count.
Telecom/SMS Testing: USD $0.15 per test, where applicable.
Contract: Freelance agreement will be completed through Upwork.
Payment: Payouts are made directly to the successful candidate’s Upwork balance.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
1. Be a speaker of Nigerian English with an authentic Nigerian accent.
2. Have a rich, deep, mature, low-register and authoritative voice.
3. Be able to deliver speech clearly, steadily and confidently.
4. Reside in Nigeria.
5. Have access to a quiet environment suitable for recording.
6. Have a smartphone or appropriate recording device.
7. Previous experience in voice-over, telemarketing, customer support, debt notification or media broadcasting is an advantage.
8. Demonstrate reliable communication and timely delivery.
