Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lekki/Ajah Axis, Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Hybrid (Once weekly office engagement)
Salary: ₦180,000 – ₦220,000 monthly
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Develop income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Monitor project profitability across ongoing developments
Provide financial performance reports for management and investors
Real Estate Brokerage Accounting
Process commission payments for brokers and agents accurately
Reconcile client payments, retainers, and agency fees
Manage escrow accounts while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Development & Construction Accounting
Track construction expenses against approved budgets
Process contractor invoices, vendor payments, and payroll records
Maintain fixed asset registers, including land and building assets
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Monitor outstanding payments, tenant rents, and installment balances
Manage supplier payments and vendor account records efficiently
Tax Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, WHT, and Company Income Tax regulations
Prepare financial schedules for internal and external audits
Serve as a key contact during audit processes
Investment & Revenue Generation
Support investment sourcing and revenue generation for company projects
Assist in identifying profitable financial opportunities within the business
✅ Requirements / Qualifications

2–5 years experience in accounting within the real estate industry
Strong understanding of finance, taxation, and investment sourcing
