MTN Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026 ICT and Business Skills Training Programme (Phase 8), a five-week capacity-building programme for young Nigerian women who own and manage microbusinesses.
The programme is designed to provide participants with practical digital, ICT, and business knowledge that can help them improve and expand their businesses. Training will be delivered through a combination of online learning, instructor-led sessions, entrepreneur masterclasses, and a practical capstone project.

Phase 8 will support 3,000 female microbusiness owners from selected states across Nigeria. Participants will also receive data support during the programme and have the opportunity to compete for equipment grants.

What the Programme Offers

The total equipment grant fund is ₦100 million, with the support intended to help successful participants improve their businesses through better equipment and technology.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
1. Be a Nigerian female aged 18 to 35 years.
2. Own and actively manage a microbusiness.
3. Have operated the business for no more than two years.
4. Have the business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, or Gombe State.
How the Training Works
The five-week programme follows a blended learning structure. Participants will combine independent online study with instructor-led learning sessions.
The programme also includes entrepreneur-led masterclasses and a capstone project designed to provide participants with practical opportunities to apply what they learn.
