Job Description
The Videographer & Video Editor will be responsible for producing quality video content for the company’s marketing and promotional activities. The role covers video planning, camera operation, production, editing, and preparation of content for different digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and film videos for social media, advertising campaigns, and company projects.
2. Operate cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and other production tools.
3. Develop creative concepts, shot ideas, camera angles, and visual storytelling approaches.
4. Edit videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software.
5. Produce short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
6. Incorporate music, sound effects, subtitles, transitions, graphics, and animations where appropriate.
7. Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to produce videos that support engagement, leads, and sales.
8. Participate in content planning, scripting, and production activities.
9. Ensure finished videos maintain consistent branding and quality standards.
10. Properly organize and maintain footage, project files, and other creative assets.
11. Keep up with emerging video trends, editing techniques, social media formats, and content styles.
Travel occasionally to different locations for filming when required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates should have:
1. Proven experience working as a Videographer and Video Editor.
2. Strong knowledge of professional video production and editing.
3. Proficiency in professional video editing software.
4. Good understanding of lighting, framing, composition, audio, and camera operation.
5. Strong creativity and visual storytelling skills.
6. Ability to produce engaging commercial and social media content.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. A portfolio or showreel of previous work.
9. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a creative or marketing team.
10. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an added advantage.
