1. Video Editor
The Video Editor will work remotely from Nigeria and will turn different creative materials into finished video content for social media, advertising campaigns and other digital platforms.
The role involves working with scripts, voiceovers, raw footage, B-roll, stock assets, graphics, music and other materials to produce professional and engaging videos.
The existing engagement structure expects the Video Editor to complete at least five edited videos per week.
Video Editor Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
-Edit both short-form and long-form videos for digital platforms.
-Interpret scripts and voiceovers and develop appropriate visual treatments.
-Apply effective pacing, transitions, captions, subtitles, typography, colour correction and sound design.
-Add visual effects, animations and other post-production elements where appropriate.
-Source suitable stock footage, images, music, B-roll and other creative assets.
-Use AI-generated creative materials where appropriate.
-Collaborate with videographers and other members of the creative team.
-Review feedback and make required revisions.
-Complete assigned video projects within agreed timelines.
-Communicate promptly when potential delays may affect delivery
-Maintain consistency with Dokitami’s visual and brand standards.
-Keep raw footage, project files, creative assets and completed exports properly organised.
Video Editor Requirements
Applicants should have:
-Proven experience in video editing, post-production and visual storytelling.
-A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant editing work.
-Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
-Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
-Familiarity with After Effects, motion graphics, animated typography, visual effects or compositing is an advantage.
-Knowledge of AI creative and video tools such as HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Kling, Runway, Seedance, Higgsfield or Veo is an advantage but not mandatory.
-A capable computer suitable for video production.
-Reliable internet access.
-Adequate storage capacity for large video files.
-The ability to transfer large files while working remotely.

2. Content Creator
The Content Creator position is a hybrid role based in Lagos and falls under Dokitami’s Brand & Creative department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing content from the research and ideation stage through scripting and production.
The role involves creating content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels, as well as advertising, educational materials, user-generated content, product campaigns and other social media activities.
The Content Creator will report to the Head of Brand & Creative.
Content Creator Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
-Research customer needs, questions, concerns, interests and objections.
-Monitor relevant social media trends and competitor content.
-Identify content opportunities that can support business and audience objectives.
-Develop original content ideas, hooks, creative angles and calls to action.
-Write scripts for UGC, educational, product, storytelling, FAQ and direct-response content.
-Create different script variations for testing across platforms and campaigns.
-Appear confidently on camera for social media, advertising and educational videos.
-Record usable video content using a smartphone or approved equipment.
-Capture appropriate framing, lighting, audio and B-roll.
-Participate in organised product and campaign shoots when required.
-Work with videographers, editors, copywriters, designers, creative strategists and media buyers.
-Review content performance with the Brand & Creative and Media Buying teams.
-Use campaign and audience performance data to develop improved versions of successful content ideas.
Content Creator Requirements
Applicants for the Content Creator position should:
-Have experience creating digital or social media content.
-Be comfortable and confident appearing on camera.
-Be fluent in English and capable of writing clear, engaging scripts.
-Understand direct-response content and its relationship to objectives such as lead generation, conversations, purchases, promotions, audience growth and engagement.
-Be capable of conducting independent research.
-Understand basic smartphone video production, including lighting, framing, audio, camera positioning and vertical-video composition.
-Be able to work full-time from Monday to Saturday.
-Demonstrate reliability, collaboration and strong attention to detail.
-Be able to meet agreed production deadlines.
-Provide a portfolio or links showing previous content work.
Healthcare Content and Accuracy Requirements
Because the role involves creating content for a healthcare company, accuracy is an important part of the Content Creator’s responsibilities.
Content creators must work with approved medical and product information when developing healthcare-related materials. They are not permitted to independently create medical claims, treatment guarantees, dosage instructions or safety claims.
Where content includes prices, promotional offers, programme information or other commercial details, the information must be confirmed as current before recording.
Candidates should therefore be comfortable working within approved information and following content and accuracy requirements.
